Jim understands the power of the scientific method, which is why he founded Vatic Labs in 2013—he wanted to build a trading firm grounded in cutting-edge machine learning and artificial intelligence research. Motivated by his passion for the market, Jim has always been a leading figure in the automated trading space. Drawing upon a unique synergy of the scientific method and deep market intelligence, Jim became one of the largest and most respected futures traders in the world before reaching the age of 30. Prior to starting Vatic Labs, most recently Jim led an elite team of traders for five years at Jump Trading, a preeminent global proprietary trading firm based in Chicago. Jim received a BS in Economics and Computer Science from Northwestern University.
As a son of refugee parents who toiled incessantly in pursuit of the American dream, Jim is passionate about providing opportunities to underprivileged children. He supports a number of education-related causes to ensure that America continues to provide every child the ability to achieve their full potential.
